Our Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide spiritual growth, Christian community, and the opportunity for faith-based service for our congregation, considering the wide diversity of age, background and religious views which make our St. Andrew family unique. As we pursue our mission, we will continue to show care and concern for our church family and the community at large by:
V Providing interaction among members and friends through divine worship, shared tasks and fellowship events;
V Presenting the opportunity for all ages to study and deepen their faith through Christian education classes on Sunday morning, the monthly Women’ s Bible Study, the Preschool, the LOGOS program (intergenerational), retreats and special studies;
V Developing our worship music program through the use of instruments, contemporary music, and historic descriptions of our hymns in the worship bulletin;
V Making our facilities available for community use;
V Continuing pastoral care through the Pastor’s and Deacons’ visits to those church members and friends who are in need;
V Cultivating local and global mission awareness and social concern, including our special mission with the hungry and the homeless through Habitat for Humanity, the Interfaith Satellite Shelter;
V Supporting St. Andrew members and friends in their efforts to be faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
